Hi honey. Just looking through all the love everyone is showing/shown you ...I had never read the guestbook before. You are very loved and blessed, indeed. Don't stop moving people, it's what you do best ~ a gift. So glad to see you doing what you love...AMEN!

Hi all,
I hope that this email finds you well. If you have a minute, I've uploaded all the "I CAN" videos to my site under the "I CAN survive cancer" tab. Please help me spread the word by sending that link to all the people you know. Those videos are designed to get rid of the fear of the unknown about cancer treatments. Passing it along to everyone helps because you don't know who got told TODAY....."you have cancer!"

Thank you for being so insperational! My dad just recently found out he has lung cancer. I can only hope he keeps a positive attitude like you have done. My friend and I went to see you last night at Starvin Marvins, we really enjoyed listening to you. Have a great time on your tour and be safe.

May 25, 2010

Troy, you won't remember me but my husband was Coach Crowell. We lost him on March 3rd but you were a true inspiration to him and helped keep his spirits up. He fought a good fight and he will be missed. You sang "Come Monday" for him one day - would you please sing it again for him sometime. I know he'd appreciate it.

Hi Devee,

I DO remember you both very well. He was a very sweet man and I enjoyed our time the 3 of us had. I'm so sorry for your loss and agree he'll be missed by all. I hope to give you a big hug in person soon. PLEASE keep in touch.

My husband Carlos was told July 2007 that he had stage four stomach cancer. We were living in Dubai at the time. A dear friend of mine set up an appointment with Dr Alan Keller at Cancer Care in Tulsa Oklahoma. Carlos began chemo imediately, had his esophagus and part of his stomach removed in October 2007. It was at that time he was diagnosed with Linitis Plastica. In November of 2007 he underwent chemo/radiation treatment for 7 weeks. Today my husband, Carlos is back at work, and has had clear PET scans since January 2008! We have so many people to thank for his recovery, from the doctors to all our family and friends who joined together in prayer for his cancer to be stopped. Thank you for your message about Linitis Plastica. Bev Conerly

Hi Troy! I saw you on Fox news tonight. It warms my heart to hear your strength. To hear the words "I CAN" shows you want all life has to offer and your not going to take any less. I smiled hearing your story when most people would have been sad, because you where thinking of others. It is very inspiring to see you giving hope to everyone around you while going thought a difficult situation. I've been around several people that had cancer and didn't have the strenght to beat the beast. Look forward to tomorrow and keep your beliefs. You can over come all with the warmth of a strong family and prayer. God be with you and bless your family with your presence for a very long time. Thanks from the Island.

Hey there Troy, I saw your story on Fox 26 last night and I just wanted to say thank you. There is so many healthy / blessed people walking around here moaning and groaning and taking everything for granted and to see and hear your story, was a breath of fresh air for me. I went through the cancer journey with me xhusband, who as a result went to be with the lord way to early (in my book)I was in my 20's he was in his 30's. Your story really touched me, not so much what your going through, but how you choose to deal with it. God Bless you and everything you do. Your in my prayers. Thanks again:)

I saw you on the news tonight (1/20/10) and wanted to tell you what an inspiration you are. I have never had to go through cancer treatments, but I have had family members and very close friends that have and I would like to thank you for being so open when it comes to your journey. The unknown is scary and you only have two ways to go... straight up and side ways. Thank you so much for showing the entire world that it's ok to be scared, but to put your life in the hands of God and he will pull you through it!
I read that you had surgery yesterday and I pray for a full recovery! Good Luck with lifes journey!
Thanks Again,

Troy, thank you for sharing your story with me and my reporter. It had to be one of my favorites to shoot. I hope others see it and take note. I my job I get to cover the good bad and ugly. This type of story is why I do what I do. Meeting people like yourself giving a positive message makes coming to work in the news business worthwhile. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

You go boy!!!!!!! Remember us? You used to play at the old Silsbee VFW years ago. In fact in 1994, I met Pruitt out there. There was an auction and he bought me your VERY 1st CASSETTE and one of your shirts. We have been married for the past 14 years and have 2 children. Recently went to a store in Baytown and I seen the CD with JUST SOUTH OF CORPUS and just had to buy it. Pruitt was sure shocked. YOU sound great and remind us of the good old times. WE wish you the best in all you do. (The last time I saw you was in Beaumont at a convenience store, you were their LOTTERY MAN)
